This IKEA Energi table lamp, designed in 2004 by Carl Öjerstam and Magnus Elebäck, is a stylish yet practical lighting piece. With its round chrome base and rod this lamp adds a modern touch to any space. The simple yet striking design is enhanced by a white plastic lampshade with a red ring that diffuses light beautifully.
Despite its retro appearance, this lamp is not vintage. Many assume it's from the 60s or 80s, but it was actually featured in IKEA's 2004 catalogue. It’s versatile, working with any E27 bulb, up to 60 watts, making it both energy-efficient and adaptable to your lighting needs.
This lamp was produced in India for IKEA’s Delft division and exists in various versions. A true retro-inspired design, it's a rare find from IKEA’s mid-2000s lineup.
